Marian Fryer Town Plaza in the Wheaton triangle, 2424 Reedie Drive , Wheaton, MD 20902
Bring out your inner artist to a spirited arts parade and festival. Catch Los Day Trippers from 1:40-2:20pm on the Grandview Stage, one of three stages along the festival's parade route. Get creative and join us! Push, pull, carry, wear or perform your art. Or, find a spot to watch the bands, dance groups, artists, and large floats parade along the Wheaton triangle to the Marian Fryer Town Plaza. From 10am-5pm enjoy non-stop entertainment, artists displaying and selling original work; and community organizations and county agencies with art making and giveaways. The festival features MoCo's top talent, including musicians presented by Strathmore and Carpe Diem Arts, showcases by local schools, and dance companies from ballet to hip hop. The entertainment is as diverse and exciting as the Wheaton community itself.
This year's 9th annual festival will be bigger than ever, expanding to include Parking Lot 13 and more of Grandview Ave. with an additional 20'x24' stage and dance floor, more booths for art vendors, more food vendors and a second Kids’ Zone with free face painting, balloon twisting and art making.
