Los Day Trippers is thrilled to join to the line-up of bands in this famous weekend-long oyster-shucking competition and arts festival. Groove to your fave Fab Four tunes set to Latin beats while you enjoy fresh and local oysters raw, grilled, fried, steamed, and everything in between! Watch contestants go head-to-head in the shucking competition, and enjoy the live music, artisan vendors, and loads of family-friendly fun all weekend long.
With over 500 miles of shoreline and an abundance of fresh seafood, it's fitting that St. Mary's County, Maryland is home to the Annual U.S. Oyster Festival. Hosted each year by the Rotary Club of Lexington Park. the beloved two-day festival is attended by thousands celebrating the best of Southern Maryland and America’s oyster culture, and culminates in the U.S. Oyster Shucking Championship. The top shuckers from across the nation compete for the title of U.S. Champion and the opportunity to represent our country in the World Oyster Opening Championships in Galway, Ireland.
